Module 6 // Peer Response
I really enjoyed viewing my peers' blogs and reading their thoughts on things we have been discussing in class, their slideshows and other things.
The two blogs I reviewed and will be responding to in the questions below are:

and

The two blogs I reviewed and will be responding to in the questions below are:

2. When looking at Project #1: (Elements and Principles), did you agree with the element or principle the artist listed with the images? Did you see other elements and principles in the images?
- Both slideshows I reviewed were great and for the most part provided examples of the elements and principles of art clearly. However neither provided descriptions as to how these photos are examples of the element or principle they claim it represented. Although I was able to see how, I think some examples made it seem ambiguous and hard to tell.
3. When looking at Project #2: Where there any images in the Peer Blogs the same as your own? If yes, what were they? Where the reasons the image was selected the same or different as your own?
- I didn't see of the same images that I included in my art trip blog (which is great, I love seeing what others see in art). I did see some familiar images that I saw from walking around which I was thinking about including. For example in the first blog, the third image with the woman and the dog I also had an interest in and wanted to know about more. And in the second blog, the Jackson Pollock painting I found interesting as well and was going to include.
4. Where there any images that your Peers selected that pique your interest now? If yes, what are they and what is your connection with them? What would you want to know about them?
- Yes, I saw several that piqued my interest. In particular the fifth image from the second blog. I don't remember seeing this one from my visit. However, I enjoyed their analysis of the piece and I think I am going to look out for it during my next visit to the gallery.
5. What do you think about the process of reading your peers reflection? Do you find this to be a valuable in your learning?
- Yes I found this to be extremely valuable. Being an online class, collaboration or seeing how you peers are experiencing the course is hard to come by. Viewing their blogs and reading their thoughts gave me invaluable insight.
6. Check your Blog and read comments posted by your Peers. Do you find their comments helpful?
- Yes, I always find constructive criticism to be helpful. I think positive and negative criticism helps me to do better and give me a baseline as to how well I understand the material in the course.
